Our certifications tell about quality.

Orasì soy and rice drinks are ISO 22005 certified: this supply chain traceability system allows to track the raw material’s history as well as to enhance their origin and peculiarities. Moreover, soy-based drinks and creams (as well as the soy extracts) are NON-GMO certified.

Food safety is one of our main concerns and this is why we immediately adopted standards recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative and achieved these two certifications.

By means of this certification issued by HCS (Halal Certification Services), the company guarantees the availability of products suitable for Muslim consumers.

Thanks to this certification, achieved as a result of the production of vegetable drinks, we’re also able to distribute products with an added value, in terms of environmental protection and food safety.

Unigrà constantly invests in environmental sustainability. To ensure transparency for the market and the consumers, the environmental impact of OraSì (in terms of consumption of resources and emissions in the environment) was measured by means of the life-cycle assessment – LCA – method.

The measurement was carried out according to the requirements of the EPD System (Environmental Product Declaration) and led to the achievement of two environmental product declarations: for the soy and the rice drink, respectively.

From March 2007, Unigrà is a member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). This association, set up in 2004, funds projects aimed at promoting and defining criteria for the conversion of the tropical forest in palm oil plantations, both for the purposes of protecting and preserving the identity of local populations.

Unigrà has obtained the ISCC EU certification in accordance with RED II, adhering to international sustainability standards. The certification recognizes Unigrà as a refinery and trader with storage, attesting to the efficiency in the sustainable transformation process of crude palm oil into refined palm oil.

Unigrà is certified by Fairtrade for cocoa semifinished products: this certification symbolises both a positive impact on the lives of cocoa farmers in the developing countries and procurement from sustainable supply chains. This is a significant choice for the company and its customers especially in terms of ethics and social responsibility.

Unigrà has achieved the ISCC PLUS certification, adhering to international standards of sustainability and carbon reduction. The certification recognises Unigrà as a refinery and trader with storage, endorsing its efficiency in the sustainable process of transforming crude sunflower oil into refined sunflower oil and food glaze based on sunflower oil.
